Nadia Laurendeau
Nadia Laurendeau was an elementary teacher for 19 years and a part-time pedagogical consultant for many years at the Marie-Victorin School Board. Her experience in integrating technologies in class and supporting colleagues has brought her to join the Service national du RÉCIT, domaine des langues. She has collaborated in writing various materials for ESL teachers throughout the years. She was a member of the SPEAQ board of directors for 6 years. She is always ready for a new challenge!
Martin Tremblay
Martin Tremblay had been teaching ESL for 20 years before becoming a pedagogical consultant for the service national RÉCIT domaine des langues. Helping teachers integrate technology into their teaching since 2012, he is now involved in developing a distance learning program for ESL. He is also developing and sharing innovative ways to to foster deeper learning for students.
Sandra Laine
Sandra Laine started her career as a primary teacher in different schools in the Montreal area. She also worked as an ESL specialist before she became a pedagogical consultant for the Marie-Victorin school board in 2007. The same year, she became a consultant for the Service national du RÉCIT, domaine des langues. She is responsible for the development of competencies by the integration of technologies in ESL. She is also the recipient of the Keith Boeckner Award in 2018 and the chairperson for SPEAQ-IT!
Johanne Proulx
Johanne Proulx has been working for the Service national du RÉCIT, domaine des langues since 2015. She was a pedagogical consultant for six years and also taught high school for over twelve years. Her passion: support teams of teachers in projects that aim at the development of competencies through digital integration.
Julie Noël
Julie Noël was an elementary teacher for des Affluents school board. She uses her passion for digital integration and French for the Service national du RÉCIT domaine des langues when assisting teachers with the use of ICTs. Having a Master’s in children’s literature, she is also passionate about the pedagogical use of technology to teach children’s literature.
Sonia Blouin
Sonia Blouin is a pedagogical consultant for the Service national du RÉCIT, domaine des langues. After teaching French for 25 years at the secondary level, she completed her Master’s degree at UQAR in order to help other teachers integrate innovative approaches into their practice. She also worked on curriculum reform at Université Laval. The development of pedagogical resources and multimodal media literacy are her main areas of interest.
Annie Cormier
Annie Cormier was a teacher at CSMV in Special Education. Her goal is to empower students to reach their full potential. After 15 years, her love for teaching has pushed her towards another challenge.
In 2016 she became a pedagogical consultant for the CSMV in special education. These three years of guiding teachers have allowed her to develop her ability to support teams with reflective practices that lead to change.
She has developed a passion for digital pedagogy and French. She believes that the integration of technology can foster academic success for all, innovate, facilitate collaboration, develop creativity and facilitate motivation and involvement of students in their learning.
In January 2019, she joined the Service national du RÉCIT, domaine des langues team.
