Shirley Vir is an elementary pedagogical consultant at the Beauce-Etchemin school board. She taught ESL at the elementary and secondary level for seven years. Through her monthly ESL Newsflash and various workshops, she shares with teachers many ways to integrate technologies in their teaching and helps them rethink how students learn (i.e. 21st century skills : 6 C’s of education). She also invites teachers to share their expertise and discovery with their colleagues in order to build a strong ESL community.
