Randy started his career as a French as a Second Language teacher in Labrador where he taught for five years. After moving to Québec, he taught ESL in both elementary and high school for a dozen years. He has been an ESL educational consultant in elementary, secondary and adults since 1998. Randy is one of the authors of the Secondary first cycle program and has also worked with a publisher. He was on the executive of the Regroupement des responsables de l’enseignement de l’anglais, langue seconde for a dozen years, six as president. He has been integrating ICT into his pedagogical practice since 1987 when he almost missed the birth of his first born in order to set up his brand new Mac SE with a 20 Mg hard drive!
